About Yael

Yael Flusberg is a healer, teacher, coach, writer and activist who created Y Elements: Practices for Transformation out of a profound desire to support like-minded folks who are working to create a more just, healthy, and sustainable world. Through its integrative line of creative, strategic, somatic and reflective services, Y Elements helps leaders and organizations become more of who they're meant to be.

Yael has 20 years of experience catalyzing and facilitating organizational and personal change within diverse communities, helping to establish priorities, inspire greater balance and cooperation, develop and leverage key relationships, and enhance leadership and resources. She has done this as a nonprofit leader, Board member, organizational founder, volunteer, consultant and coach, and takes a culturally competant approach to her work.

Yael has a Masters of Science in International Development Management from the American University’s School of International Service, is trained in ontological coaching from the Newfield Network, is a certified teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance (RYT-200), and a Master Reiki practitioner.  Her first chapbook of poetry, The Last of My Village, is forthcoming from Poetica. Yael's passion is learning, and she is always adding new tools to help her serve you better!
